Another Tektronix 1240 instrument, but this is not in order either. When you turn it on, we only get the message:
This does not look good. The instrument was opened and quickly we can determine why it did not work. The battery on the Control Processor card has leaked out electrolyte almost over the entire board, etched apart the nearby components. Although on the solder side there are damages, as well as on the crate for the cards. The TEK-1240 was probably not in order before the battery problem either, because a note was attached to the instrument who said it had the following error message:
